Hello Bride and Groom-to-be and welcome! I am so glad you took the time to reach out and contact me about your wedding! This is such an EXCITING time! It will be one of the BEST, most important days of your life! There is something SO special about seeing two people make a commitment before family and friends, to each other. I consider it an honor and a privilege to photograph each wedding that I do! I LOVE every aspect of a wedding day. From all of the details- (fluffy flowers with any types of greenery); to your bride and groom couple photos, to the last dance and exit of the night! I am with you for most of your day and so by the end of the night, you and your family feels like my family! ;) As a photographer, my goal is to leave my clients with an experience they can look back on when they see their photos and remember and much fun they had. My Philosophy

I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this part of your planning process as smooth as possible. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing experience. One where you feel completely at ease and comfortable knowing that this part of your day is well taken care of! When my couples feel at ease and comfortable, they are much more relaxed in front of the camera which results in genuine, joyful, images! I remember at my wedding, all the amazing memories and moments, but looking back at the photos, I especially remember how comfortable I felt and how everything just flowed so smoothly during our photos. For the first time I was able to experience what it felt like to be in front of the camera as a bride. I want all of my brides (and grooms) to have a fun, enjoyable experience that is one they will never forget!

They are absolutely breathtaking! You captured the day in such a beautiful and candid way. I LOVE them. I am so happy that we have such a nice way to remember the best day ever. After photographing quite a few weddings over the past years, I’ve found that I am not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how you guys got engaged.

We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with me and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. I've photographed quite a few weddings so I have seen my number of scenarios and timelines so I am more than happy to help where I can.

Wedding Advice

I'm big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you. 

Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. I’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. I normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, or based on schedules. 

Engagement Session

I check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else I should know about your big day. 

While I normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions during the planning process!

Wedding Day Prep

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. 

Just know I'm excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be AWESOME! :)

The Big Day

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about six to eight weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums if you haven't already decided on a collection with an album.

I hope the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, I'd love to document your growing family.

MORE DETAILS

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on coffee tables.

All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revision. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day.

ALBUMS

All of my collections include a complimentary engagement session. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how I pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.
Sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, I’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Galleries typically include anywhere between 700 and 900 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media. Tagging or mentioning me in the photo is always appreciated! :)

How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?

ABSOLUTELY! I am based in Delaware, but always love shooting in new places! Typically weddings I photograph are located in DE, MD, & PA, but I am always happy to consider other areas as well! :)

 do you travel?

I love shooting at new venues because it gives me a chance to be creative and try new things. So if I haven't shot at your venue and its relatively close, I will either take a day to visit your venue, or I will typically arrive early to scope it out and pick out some great photos spots ahead of time. 

have you shot at our venue?

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 30% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 1 month before the wedding.
